RX2 Files

Sampling is a part of our heritage.

We have every right to sample whatever we want. That's how music should work, and we have no idea how legal systems affect the way that progress is made. By causing it to be against the law to do something as simply innocuous as splicing part of a previously made song into a new one is absolutely absurd.

If to follow the flow of money is your only concern, follow it here: The Record Catalyst System.

These files are UN-openable to ANYONE except those who would produce music with it. You cannot control the music, that would never work. People are going to play whatever they want. By allowing the kids to have access to these parts, we are saying a few things, essentially:

Here they are, kids, the access to the source files you've been looking for. You can have all of them. If you like my civilization, here are all the pieces. Maybe Global Democracy doesn't work if you don't give these poor suffering nations the right kit. Maybe they need a better Democracy Package. Maybe you need to fess up a little bit and stand up for your own rights, like I'm doing. Stand tall and proud to be a man in this great country! (or woman). Whatever country you're in.

Let's not concern ourselves with spreading governing systems. How about making fairness more accessible? come fairness, there's peace, and in that we can find love.

Now go find some samples and REMIX!

here's your word.

what is this page(?)

This is a database of sound files for people who make music.
Many of these sounds can be found in Stereophoniqkhz songs.

You are encouraged to use these files to build your own awesome music.

Most Stereophoniqkhz songs are
contained in RNS format.

These files open in a screen like the one
you see on the left.

You are able to mute, adjust, and change all elements of the song. It becomes completely
accessible to modify in any way you want.

RX2 files are samples from external music.
Often these are parts of other peoples' songs.
These can only be opened in REASON.
You need these files to create songs in the genre of "mashup" music. These files are created in a separate program called Recycle.

RFL files are packaged kits of sound, built specifically to open in Reason.

These can be made with the Refill Packager.
Some contain patch kits, and other types of sound programming files that are hard to master.

OTHER SOFTWARES

Reason isn't the only software that exists in the world.
It just happens that it's the only one that I highly recommend!

You're encouraged to make music, too. If you've ever enjoyed computer games such as "SIMCITY" or "CIVILIZATION," and have played these types of games with any success, you will surely be able to produce your own instrumental songs. Building a song on REASON is very similar to building a metropolis on SIM CITY.

Ableton - about $300 - mac and PC - demo
Logic Pro - $500 - mac only - demo
