I made a NFT based on a song that I produced.

I produced an entirely original song on Reason and made the source files available.

In theory, this was a very good idea.

Project Details

When NFT's were first starting to become popular, I decided to try to see how difficult it would be to mint an item for sale on the market.

The idea is that the purchaser would be able to download the source file to the song, which would allow the purchaser to open the song within the software it was created. This would allow whomever purchased the NFT to modify it in literally any way: remixing it, adding vocals, removing instruments, changing instrument settings, or to simply learn from my production techniques by analyzing the way the file was put together.

It's not the greatest song in the world but it's not terrible either. I threw down a guitar riff in there as well for good measure.
