I had the opportunity to create a music video for my friend Xavier, who approached me with a track he had composed and a vision for how he wanted it to be visually represented. After brainstorming ideas, I suggested filming in a scenic location in Connecticut that I was familiar with, specifically an area featuring a stream with cascading waterfalls. This spot was ideal not only for its natural beauty but also for the sense of serenity and introspection it evoked.
During the filming process, I utilized my drone to capture dynamic aerial footage, which added a unique perspective to the video and highlighted the stunning surroundings. Xavier expressed that he wanted the video to convey a journey of self-discovery, a theme that we worked to integrate into the visuals through thoughtful composition and storytelling.
