In 2023, I collaborated with a traffic engineer to assess the challenges associated with rail crossings in Kingston, New York. Drawing on key insights and materials provided by Mayor Steve Noble, I produced an informative video that highlighted critical issues facing the city's rail line and supported a comprehensive rail crossing.

My approach to these types of traffic assessments involve plenty of footwork. I will often visually assess an entire corridor on the ground first before taking flight. This is not just to enhance my safety protocol- it also gives me a better idea of what to look for and what to expect once I take flight and begin scanning the area from the air.

These efforts resulted in the identification of several issues in the corridor involving pedestrian and vehicle safety. My work also provided realtime documentation of some of the issues concerning road alignments and intersections at key crossings.
