OPEN INVITATION
Want to be in a music video? Come down to Cafe Nine on February 9th to be in the new music video for the Lost Riots.  The song is called "Last Night Was Fun" and it's about exactly what it sounds about.  Jeffrey and his band are going to play a local club. They're going to get into all kinds of trouble with people (think "classic bar moments" and participate in the discussion to determine this part of the plot). And at the end, by their request, they'd like to get chased down the street, the same way that say the Beatles did in a Hard Days' Night.  Except being chased for all different reasons.

IDEAS
Maybe wear a Costume. Yes, maybe a hockey costume. Or some kind of animal costume. Whatever. Bring your own costume because we don't have any to lend out.

RULES
It's smart to consider wearing something that you wouldn't normally wear.
NO CELLPHONE USE ON THE SET. That's kind of like the only rule.
If you have to take a call, we ask that you proceed to the front hall of Cafe Nine or the outside parking lot. In order for the video to  look authentic, it would be better if there were no appearances of modern technology (smartphones would be the perfect example).

Maybe DRESS RETRO. Wear something that looks like it's from a different time period.  Prepare to look offended and maybe dance a little. Think of the words to the song (read lyrics online at townofnewhaven.org) because they're doing to be telling the story of what kind of video we'll be trying to make.

ITS OK TO DRESS NORMAL.  If you want to look generic, like teeshirt and jeans, that is totally alright. We need people in there to make the Bar look full. Hopefully it'll be a really fun time. You're not obligated to do anything. You can visit just to watch us film.

BEER SPECIALS
None announced yet at this point. Jeffrey seems to like the local brew co. known as New England Brewery, makers of Elm City Lager.

(videographers):  YOU CAN HELP FILM
If you have a video camera that takes SD Cards, you're welcome also to help film also. We'll be collecting footage from people as they leave, for whoever chooses to participate.
You can get credit if you want; and if not, we won't mention you!

REQUESTS
We are looking for a mannakin. If you know of one, ask if it wants to be in a video.

PROPS
We could use some cardboard.

ABOUT SCHEDULE
We'll be filming from 1-6pm at Cafe Nine. Show up whenever you want, for however long you feel like it. Hopefully it will not snow that day.

This is an older video made back in 2012.
The new one will be better.
