Continues You've heard of the Shakespeare Lady, who dominates New Haven Register headlines, has documented her life on film, and often misquotes. But it's unlikely that you've ever met this new haven legend. Prior to recent years, Derrick had a rather noticeable tumor on his head, which may have caused some degree of psychelogical trauma. This benign growth was removed, but Derrick still has had difficulty fully adjusting to society. Known by several aliases, including Buddy
as well as Jimmy, but whose real name is Derrick, this man is often seen
asking for change in downtown New Haven. |
