Google had been recently pressured by the Supreme Court, who were trying to investigate the spread of pornography over the internet. They wanted to know about what websites contained pornography, who was looking for it, and were hoping to obtain information about the illegal logistics.

Google was reluctant to release records, and refused at first, under the premise that it would reveal industry secrets about the way its search engine worked.

So, at first, we thought it was possible that Google might be trying to make some kind of political statement about the president. But upon further research, there is reason why the primary result for a search on the word 'failure' returns the George W. Bush official White House page.

That reason is because of the number of other web pages which contain the word 'failure' and list that particular page as a link.
