A serious film production group was working on a movie on the green. It was called "Bronx is Burning" or something to that effect, and one of the producers called our state "Patheticut."

If it's so pathetic, why would you film a scene supposedly in the Bronx on the green? Huh?

This is the inside of a taxi cab that you see in the upper picture. It's supposed to be a prop for this film.

Other recent films set in New Haven include the upcoming Uma Thurman movie which contains scenes from Chapel Street and Sheridan Middle School. That's supposed to be about school shootings such as Columbine.
