Reason, similar to the MPC, uses prerecorded sound to produce music. To its advantage, the pattern arrangements are alot more adustable, being entirely visible on a screen that resembles graph paper, where midi data is controllable like computerized sheet music. The range of instruments that are available are quite incredible. All of the sample patches provided as a part of the software are very authentic-sounding. Some of the sounds are computer generated and thus much more adjustabl3 than a normal sound file. It's steps beyond the mpc that surprised me greatly. continue >>?
