Actually i've only heard one foofighter album. It's
called "The Color and the Shape." I couldn't help thinking
about his relation to Kurt Cobain during the heyday of their band,
Nirvana. Lyrics such as "don't want to be your monkeywrench"
and "am i selling you out" sound so directed towards Kurt.
I don't know, though. Grohl plays most of the instruments on the recordings
of his albums, and then gets other people to play for the live shows.
In that sense, he's alot like Billy Corgan. I like the song on that
album where he goes, "February stars, floating in the dark..."
it's really good.
