one cop car on whitney and trumbull was hit by another vehicle in an event that was unexplained. About half a block away, a police motorcycle was on its side with severe damage. On its way to the other accident, it was hit by a vehicle emerging from a driveway. |

Several major intersections were blocked off in an incident invloving two police vehicles: a cruiser was hit by a car at the intersection of Temple St. and Trumbull. |

Whitney Avenue was blocked in every direction from Grove Street all the way to Sachem. Trumbull was blocked from Orange to Temple. There was a lot of confusion in that area as to why so many cop cars were involved. |
